Tasting Note: Dark ruby fruit - currants, blackberry, dark cherry, and some plum. Smooth mid-palate with solid depth/concentration - medium plus body. Nice flavors of cassis, some spice, plum, and a little graphite component. Fairly long finish.
Accolades: A dark, frankly ripe style with acai and blackberry reduction notes teaming up with ganache and dark tobacco accents to form a dense, grippy core backed by licorice root and apple wood on the gutsy finish.
