Tasting Note: It is the king of Beaujolais and the wine with the best aging potential. The terroir of Rochegrès gives this cuvée the great finesse, balance and power. Has some Pinot Noir notes with a few years of aging.
Fresh, spicy and mineral with aromas of red fruits (redcurrant, strawberry) then notes of black fruits (blackberry and blackcurrant). Fleshy and fine. A straightforward, pure and balanced wine with a round and velvety texture. The finish is long and persistent with good aromatic complexity.
Accolades: This shows good purity and focus to the cherry and ripe raspberry fruit, matched with licorice, orange peel and floral details. Light, integrated tannins offer support on the spicy, long finish. Drink now through 2024.
