Tasting Note: The 2019 Petite Sirah is dark, inky, and dense, with layers of bramble berry fruit, touches of earth, and lovely floral tones interwoven with more savoury notes of black pepper and cigar box spice, balanced by oak integration. On the palate, ripe saturated flavours of cassis, blackberry preserves, blueberry creme, cherry kirsch, vanilla spice, and dark plum envelope the intense mouthfeel. A silky viscosity with a voluminous texture, wrapped in velvety tannins, completes the generous and lengthy finish.
Accolades: “A very fine-tannined red with blackberry, chocolate, dried chili, ink pot, and oyster shell aromas and flavors. Full-bodied and very structured, with a flavorful and lightly austere finish. Top petite sirah. Drink or hold.” - James Suckling
