Tasting Note: Youthful, rich dark fruit, berry and cassis aromas meld with notable French oak spice. On the palate, Valdisanti is full-bodied with deep but reserved fruit flavors framed by rich oak. The excellent balance of fruit intensity with fine tannins indicates a cellar worthy wine. Note: Some sediment may occur in the bottom of the bottle as the wine is not filtered.
Accolades: An intense red, with graphite, spice and tar aromas complementing concentrated blackberry, blueberry, wild rosemary and mineral flavors. Reveals burly tannins that are assertive, yet not overly astringent at this youthful stage. Compact finish. Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2026 through 2038. 4,500 cases made, 3,000 cases imported. - Bruce Sanderson
